Shalowsh as a House of Prayer was founded in 2010, from a prayer group in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa.

Isaiah 56:7 (KJV), even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.

God has placed a leader over the local assembly who governs with a certain dimension of the apostolic grace, which is part of the fivefold ministry grace gifting given by Jesus at His ascension – Ephesians 4:11.

Pastor Gert Meyer is the Senior Pastor of Shalowsh Christian Family Church which he founded with his wife Pastor Linda in 2010.

As an anointed teacher and preacher who presents the Word of God with simplicity, and a unique style of opening up the Word of God and breaking it down to people’s level of understanding. His direct and uncompromised preaching and teaching of the Word, has made him a much sought after speaker in the secular world as well as Christian homes. He is particularly noted for his insight on Leadership, Business and Fathers and Sons.

He has an absolute passion for teaching and therefore accomplishing astonishing and extreme transformation within the youth.

Pastor Gert Meyer stands in accountable relationships with other Ministries. It is through such a covenantal relationship that Shalowsh Christian Family Church more effectively establishes God’s Kingdom as a Body.

Pastors Gert & Linda have three daughters, Annerie, Cheney and Almarie.

The word Shalowsh has its origin from Hebrew translated as “three”, also an instrument of music, great lord, great measure or prince. Shalowsh also signify excellence

Shalowsh Christian Family Church promotes family and a life from the finished work of the cross, living a lifestyle from that finished position.
